By taking part in the run, participants could help save lives by fundraising for one of the event's six charity partners: Asthma Foundation, Arthritis Foundation, Cancer Council, Diabetes WA, Heart Foundation and LifeLine.

THE BRIEF

The brief for this event was to supply toilets to cater for 15,000 (approx) runners and spectators. The toilets were to be delivered prior to the start of the event 6:00am and be taken away at the conclusion of the event 1:00pm

There were several locations along the route for the toilets to be delivered. The Esplanade, Langley Park, The WACA, Belmont and Burswood.

During the event they were to be maintained by Instant Toilet and Showers onsite event cleaning staff.

POTENTIAL ISSUES & SOLUTIONS

The time frame in which we had to deliver and remove the toilets due to a strict time frame which had to be adhered to.  

LOGISTICS

Instant Toilets & Showers managed the delivery and installation of the 128 toilets.  The toilets had to be all onsite on Saturday 21st May and removed at 1:00pm Sunday 22nd of May.

We utilized three Hiab equipped trucks and experienced operators to deliver, install and remove. This was a smooth and efficient process, beating the deadlines by a considerable margin.   

SUMMARY

Sunday 22nd May - 6:00am. It was a cold morning by Perth's standards, 6c at the WACA with the sun starting to rise. Runners and spectators begin to arrive.

Instant toilets and Showers provided 128 of our Five Star Event Toilets and due to the cold morning they provided a much welcome relieve to the runners and spectators. All of our products performed without a hitch and with our events cleaning staff onsite, everything was kept clean and tidy for all of the participants. Our client, Bjorn from Tri Events said  "He had received positive comments on the cleanliness of the toilets." Which was a testament to the hard work and effort put in by our events cleaning staff.
