Q.    How often does a portable toilet need to be serviced?
A.    A portable toilet must be serviced every fortnight or more frequently as required. In accordance with the Health (Temporary Sanitary Conveniences) Regulations 1997, Section 32 – Maintenance of a Temporary Toilet, “is serviced once in every 2 weeks or in such a shorter period”.


Q.    Can you guarantee my toilet will not fill up between services?
A.    Unfortunately, No.  There are many factors that affect the usage of portable toilets and the amount of waste generated in the units.  Weather, Alcohol and food consumption are the common factors however if on a work site the total amount of people on the site and the total time they spend on site each day are all significant factors with toilet demand/usage.


Q.    Can I have a portable toilet serviced weekly?
A.    Yes, you can.  Depending on the amount of people using the toilet and the environment in which the toilet is placed (ie: work site, event etc) the toilet can be serviced at any interval that is required.    Our service management system can allow us to specify and frequency that is required.
